The Choir meets at St. Chad’s C of E Church Community Hall, Charter Drive/Durham Road, East Herrington, Sunderland, SR3 3PG on Friday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

Welcome to Sunderland Male Voice Choir which is the 'Premier Choir' of the City of Sunderland. A friendly community choir based in the North East of England.
The choir was formed in 1959 and was formerly known as Shiney Row Male Voice Choir. The newly rebranded Choir aims to be more inclusive to all communities across the Sunderland region and beyond. We hope that people across the region and further afield will continue to enjoy our music at community concerts and prestigious events.
New male singers are always welcomed, and the choir can offer an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
A rolling programme of concerts and events is regularly evolving. The choir is always interested to receive new bookings.
The choir performs a wide and varied repertoire of music. Some of the most popular numbers can be found on the choir’s collection of CDs, LPs and videos.
